iOS 26.2 Beta 3 Now Available With More Features And Fixes

0

Apple is steadily advancing its testing of iOS26.2, recently releasing the third beta to developers ahead of a planned mid-December public rollout. Alongside iOS26.2, Apple is also refining other operating systems, including macOS Tahoe26.2, which is expected to debut a new video call feature called Edge Light.

In iOS26.2 beta2, Apple enhanced Liquid Glass animations, bringing the interface closer to the bouncy and vivid look previewed at WWDC earlier this year. With beta3, further refinements are likely, aiming to make the Liquid Glass experience even smoother and more visually appealing.

Apple is also expanding Liquid Glass integration across its native apps. The latest beta adds Liquid Glass bubbles to the Measures app during measurements. Additionally, the Apple Store app received a fresh icon and updated UI, though these changes are available even without installing the iOS26.2 beta.
Key Features in iOS26.2One of the headline features arriving with iOS26.2 is the expansion of Live Translation to European users. After delays related to the EU’s Digital Markets Act, Apple is finally enabling real-time conversation translation via AirPods for users in Europe, scheduled for release in December. iOS26.1 already broadened Live Translation language support and expanded Apple Intelligence to more regions.

Another upcoming feature is Known AirDrop Contacts, which will introduce PIN-protected AirDrop connections. Users who share a one-time code will automatically appear as available contacts for AirDrop for30 days, enhancing both convenience and privacy.
Broader OS UpdatesApple is also rolling out beta3 for iPadOS26.2, macOS Tahoe26.2, watchOS26.2, tvOS26.2, and visionOS26.2. Any notable changes in these betas will be reported as they emerge, and updates on the public release schedule will be shared as soon as Apple makes them official.
