Notably, post-mid-November hardware introductions have been rare—such as the AirPods Max arriving on December 15, 2020, and the 16-inch MacBook Pro in late November 2019, followed by the Mac Pro and Pro Display XDR in mid-December.
While Apple occasionally releases products after its holiday shopping campaign begins, it’s an uncommon occurrence. Rumors suggest Apple already has new devices ready, but is strategically waiting for the optimum moment.
